FANB disallowed illegal mine installed in Amazonas

The FANB gives no rest to criminal organizations dedicated to preying on our natural areas

An illegal mine installed in the Atabapo municipality of the state of Amazonas was dismantled by members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) as part of Operation Niebla 2024, reported the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

The senior military officer explained that 7 hydraulic hammers, 5 power plants, 2 stone grinders and a large amount of logistic supply materials were detected and disabled at this site.

FANB, in compliance with the orders of the Commander in Chief and Constitutional President of the Republic, maintains a display of restraint, ensuring respect for the Venezuelan territorial legal system,” wrote the senior military officer in his X account.
