The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) evicted 30 Colombians from Alto Orinoco, Amazonas state, who illegally crossed borders to carry out illegal mining in our country, reported the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through a message published in his X account, the senior military officer explained that, according to our legal system, illegally staying in our territory to destroy the environment is punishable by law.
“The fact that our borders are covered by green areas under environmental protection does not mean that they are abandoned and that they can be devastated at the free will of any invader. Our land is not rented or sold, Venezuela is a territory of peace, law and justice where human rights and environmental rights prevail,” he emphasized.
