The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) seized 2.5 tons of food that were hidden in an illegal mining camp detected in the state of Amazonas, reported the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message published in his X account, he explained that instruments used for the predation of the environment were also found and destroyed in that space.

“Since 1976, mining and hydrocarbon exploitation has been banned in the state of Amazonas and currently the Land Management Act and security and defense plans provide for the protection of the ecosystem throughout the entity against environmental predators. Every structure present will be dismantled,” said the senior military officer.
