Faria: Caracas Postal Center enabled as a collection center to support affected families

The Minister of Transportation, Jacqueline Fanía, reported that the Postal Center of Caracas, located on José Ángel Lamas Avenue a few meters from the Military Hospital, was enabled as a point for receiving and transferring aid for families affected by the emergency.

He indicated that the space will function as a temporary collection center in coordination with Ipostel and the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation.

Fária noted that the institution keeps its doors open to receive contributions from citizens, in a joint effort aimed at supporting those who require immediate support, in a context where national solidarity continues to be mobilized.

The center will operate between 08:00 a.m. and 08:00 p.m., during which time non-perishable food, bottled drinking water, medications, first aid supplies, clothing in good condition, blankets and personal hygiene items will be received.

The minister stressed that the call is addressed to the entire population, with the purpose of strengthening the support network that has been organized in different parts of the country to serve affected families.
