The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating the destination of million-dollar funds granted to Juan Guaidó by the White House for alleged humanitarian aid to Venezuela, media announced this Saturday.
In this regard, the FBI questioned Carlos Méndez, director of EVTV Miami, in order to give details about the funds for the alleged humanitarian aid, which, according to the security agency, suspects that this money fell into the hands of the businessman and his channel that Guaidó tried to use to replace TeleSur.
On the other hand, a democratic spokesman asserted that Méndez would be involved in the embezzlement of funds in the amount of 2 million dollars given by the Donald Trump Administration to Guaidó and in addition to others financed by the current government of Joe Biden.
In the same way, the Democrat pointed out others from the litter of the self-proclaimed Guaidó would be involved among them: Carlos Vecchio, who served as Guaidó's ambassador to the United States; Yon Goicochea, who managed funds provided by the White House during the “government” of Guaidó , and Roberto Marrero, Guaidó's former chief of staff, reviewed the TELESUR website.
