Bravos de Margarita's strategist, José Moreno, won the Manager of the Year award for the 2023-2024 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).
Moreno scored 121 points in total, to win the Alfonso “Chico” Carrasquel award, while the second place went to Henry Blanco de Cardenales de Lara with 62 units.
“I was very happy to be nominated together with Henry Blanco and José Alguacil (Leones del Caracas), because I know the quality they have as managers, as does everyone who makes up the league,” said Moreno, reported by Prensa LVBP.
The Strategist gave all the credit to the team; to the collaboration of the coaching staff, which was very great. “These awards don't come alone.”
This is the second time that Moreno has won the Manager of the Year Award at the LVBP, after winning it in the 2020-2021 campaign at the helm of the Twilight Awards.
