Foreign Minister Gil paid tribute to the late Emir of the State of Kuwait

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yvan Gil, signed the book of condolences for the physical departure of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, El Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In this regard, the head of Venezuelan diplomacy said that during the signing it was a “moment of deep sadness”, while stressing that “it has been an honor to pay tribute to a leader who left an indelible legacy.”

On December 16, the Royal Court of Kuwait announced the death of Sheikh Al-Sabah, at the age of 86.

After learning of his death, the Bolivarian Republic extended its condolences to the Royal Al Sabah family and to the noble Kuwaiti people, and wished that “God bless His Highness in the paradise of martyrs and faithful”.
