Foreign Minister Gil thanked the solidarity of Mexican rescuers after the earthquake of 24J

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gic, spoke with his counterpart from Mexico, Roberto Velasco Álvarez, whom he thanked for his solidarity with the Venezuelan people after the two earthquakes of last June 24.

“We had a conversation with the Mexican Foreign Minister, Roberto Velasco Álvarez, to whom we express the deep gratitude that all the Venezuelan people feel for the solidarity of the Government and the Mexican people,” he said from his Telegram user.

He added that “we are grateful for sending the rescue team that is carrying out search and rescue work, as well as the sending of new support that will arrive by air and sea in the coming days to strengthen our humanitarian work and the reconstruction efforts that lie ahead.”
