Foreign ministers of Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago review bilateral agenda during meeting in Caracas

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Félix Plasencia, held a meeting this Thursday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and CARICOM Affairs of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Sean Sobers, to review the bilateral agenda and discuss issues of common interest to both governments.

During the working day, held at the Casa Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre, in Caracas, the foreign ministers ratified their commitment to continue strengthening channels of dialogue and strategic cooperation, as well as understanding and exchange between their countries for the integral benefit of peoples.

“Your visit, as Foreign Minister of a neighboring and friendly nation of Venezuela, reaffirms the historic ties that unite us and our willingness to consolidate, with coordinated work and vision of the future, fraternity and mutual respect” between the two Caribbean countries, Minister Plasencia published on his social networks.

The Trinidadian foreign minister arrived in the country through the “Simon Bolivar” International Airport in La Guaira, where he was greeted by the Deputy Minister for the Caribbean, Raúl Li Causi.
