As part of the immediate response to the People's requests guaranteed through the 1x10 of Good Governance, the Government of the state of La Guaira, through the company Gas La Guaira, delivered 350 cylinders of 10 kilograms of domestic gas, to replace the old cylinders of more than 300 families in the sectors of Quebrada de Cariaco and San Telmo.
The activity was led by the Governor, José Alejandro Terán; the president of Pdvsa Gas Comunal, Julio Rojas, and the president of Gas La Guaira, Jesús Soublette, who were also accompanied by the Organized Popular Power of the La Guaira parish.
Of these 350 cylinders, 175 were distributed to the community of San Telmo and 175 to Quebrada de Cariaco, with a total investment amount of 28,700 dollars.
This replacement day will be deployed throughout the parishes of the Central Coast as part of the Government's acquisition of 5,700 new cylinders.
“During the campaign, one of the goals set was to eradicate so-called “express filling” and to give way to a domestic gas distribution system that would become a model to follow. Today we proudly say that we are pioneers in buying more than 5,000 cylinders so that they reach the town directly,” said Terán, a press review by Gobernación de La Guaira.
He also explained that the replacement plan will be implemented every Tuesday along the coast “to guarantee the maximum reach in each Guaireña community and provide that efficient service they deserve.”
The Governor assured that they continue to work to expedite the modality and cycles of direct distribution to 15 days, one of the promises made in the campaign to give a significant boost to domestic gas service in La Guaira.
He also specified that each of the new cylinders has a unique security code that will allow them to be monitored and controlled every day of distribution.
“The cylinders are made of carbon fiber and covered with plastic to ensure their durability and safety when handling them, these cylinders have a registered serial number once assigned, which will facilitate their transfer and delivery to their owner in the event of loss or an erroneous change of the cylinder,” he said.
