Government of Lara begins comprehensive plan for the maintenance and rehabilitation of bridges

The government of the state of Lara began this Wednesday a plan for the comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation of bridges in the state.

This was announced by the governor of the central-western entity, Luis Reyes Reyes, who specified that the action is carried out hand in hand with the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation. He explained that the actions will begin on the Las Damas bridge on Ribereña Avenue, which connects the cities of Barquisimeto and Cabudare, as well as on the Macuto bridge, which connects the capital of Larense with the El Manzano sector, detailed a press release.

In the same way, interventions stand out on the Tonomó bridges, located on the old road to El Tocuyo; Yacural; Guardagallo and the Buenavista sector, Reyes Reyes explained during the deployment of the operation on Avenida Ribereña de Barquisimeto.

The works will improve the management of the riverbed, guaranteeing a comprehensive intervention that will be progressively extended to all these structures.
