The play “Granada, Betrayal and Crime”, inspired by the life and legacy of the Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca, began its second season at the Armando Reverón Museum of Contemporary Art in Caracas (MACCAR), where it will run until November 1.

The production, written by Aníbal Grunn and directed by Rufino Dorta, Aníbal Grunn and Carlos Arroyo, brings together more than 40 artists in an immersive proposal that combines theater, poetry, live singing and gypsy dancing in six seasons distributed among the works of outstanding visual artists.

The production, presented by the National Theater Company (CNT), registered more than 1,500 spectators and sold out performances during its first season at the Alberto de Paz y Mateos Theater.

In this new phase, the museum's spaces offer an experience that integrates the performing and visual arts to pay homage to Lorca, 90 years after his assassination.

The audience highlighted the aesthetic proposal and the validity of the Spanish writer's legacy. Gilberto Jansen Rodríguez described the production as a “dazzling” experience, while the young actor Bryant Valera highlighted the work's ability to continue to inspire new generations.

The performances will be held from Thursday to Sunday, at 7:00 p.m., for people over 16 and with reduced capacity . Tickets can be purchased via WhatsApp at 0424-1685183 or at the museum box office before each presentation.
