Guárico Government is preparing to celebrate 300 years of the Dungeon Foundation

The Government of Guárico held a working table with various commissions that are aimed at preparing the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Calabozo parish, as announced by the governor of the entity, José Vásquez.
“In the next few days, the 300th anniversary of the Dungeon will be celebrated. We have a special condition to be the protagonist of this historic event that spans three centuries of this great city and the meaning it has represented for Venezuela and contemporary history,” he emphasized, according to information from Venezolana de Televisión.
He also highlighted the special qualities that this Guariqueña town has to contribute to the enjoyment and interest of the nation. At the same time, he highlighted the entity's national recognition for having one of the largest Colonial Historic Centers in Venezuela, which reflects transcendental aspects of the history of peoples, which strengthens the cultural environment of the town.
It is estimated that in the coming days the authorities will detail the elements that characterized this celebration, which dates back to February 1, 1724, when the city was formed and founded under the name of the Villa de Todos los Santos.
