The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the results of a recent survey that revealed that 94% of the population is against any threat or aggression of the United States (USA) against the country.
During a meeting with the People's Power in El Junquito, Caracas, the Head of State noted that “this is the greatest consensus ever achieved in the political history of Venezuela: 94%,” and stressed that agreeing with aggressions against the Homeland is an “unspeakable” position.
In this regard, he indicated that “it is worrying that 6% of people are still in an unspeakable attitude (...) No harm done by imperialism in the world has proven to be good for any family. There is the example of Afghanistan. How did they leave Afghanistan after 20 years? There is the example of Iraq. There is the example of Gaza. There's the example of Libya,” he argued.
The Dignitary called for reflection and reconciliation and urged this minority of Venezuelans, represented by that 6%, “to let themselves be carried away by an inexplicable feeling of hatred, of revenge and by negative people, by the fascist witch”, to “wake up in time and join the great majority that we want peace, stability, happiness, tranquility, progress, prosperity”.
