Head of State orders deployment of “activated and well-armed” Militia across the country

During a meeting with the leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and governors and mayors of the revolutionary forces, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that in the coming days more than 4.5 million militiamen and militiamen will be deployed throughout the national territory.

“One of the key elements of the entire peace plan is to deploy all the militia capacity in the territory and by sector, to establish the capacity of the Militia in all the territories of the country activated and well armed,” he said while emphasizing the importance of this armed component being integrated with the peasant fronts and the fighting forces present in each factory.

The National President rejected the threats made by US imperialism against the peace and sovereignty of Venezuela and stressed that in the face of these actions “we must make our territory impregnable.”
