Head of State: Socialist Mission Bases benefited almost 4 million families in 2023

A total of 460 new Socialist Mission Bases were created during 2023, to reach a total of 2,360 at the national level, to benefit 3,816,000 families, said the first national president, Nicolás Maduro, during the presentation of his annual message to the National Assembly (AN).

The head of state explained that the goal for 2024 is to reach 3,000 Mission Bases, which is why he urged Mervin Maldonado, Sectorial Vice President for the Development of Socialism, Social and Territorial, to present the plan to achieve this figure.

“We have to reach 3,000 emission bases and move on to the 5 million families served. Thanks to social investment, we can say that at the end of the year we met the goal of building 500 thousand homes and reaching 4 million 900 thousand homes, we are already close to 5 million in Plan de la Patria number two.

He also said that for the Plan Patria 2025 - 2031 the goal cannot be lower than 7 million and those houses to be built must be at least 40% but Venezuelan youth, for single mothers, for the people most in need.

As for those benefiting from the Patria System, he specified that 21 million Venezuelans benefited, while asking to include those who need it in the system.
