Head of State: We know diplomacy to face new imperial attempts to colonize our America

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy is the mechanism for confronting the threats and imperial attempts of the United States (USA) to colonize Latin America and the Caribbean.

“We know a lot about diplomacy. And we could paraphrase (Commander Hugo) Chávez from that February 29, 2004, when he declared the anti-imperialist nature of the Bolivarian Revolution of the 21st century: There is enough diplomacy here, diplomacy for peace, if you want peace and we seek peace,” said the head of state.

During the closing of the International Conference “Colonialism, Neocolonialism and the Territorial Dispossessions of Western Imperialism”, which was held in Caracas, he emphasized that there is also diplomacy “to face the new imperial attempts to colonize our America and to fight however we have to fight , in whatever scenario we may have to, to preserve the dignity and right to life, peace and the existence of our people.”
