IAHULA received two hemodialysis machines in Mérida

The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Health, strengthened the Hemodialysis Unit of the Instituto Autonomo Universitario Hospital de los Andes (IAHULA), sending two dialysis machines.

According to information issued by the government, in this regard, the director of the hospital, Nellys Molina Contreras, reported that with this important equipment, the service is operational with eight machines to perform hemodialysis treatment.

During the delivery, the general director of Health, Emilena Romero, and the director of nephrology Katherine Lugo, from the Venezuelan Social Security Institute, supervised the Unit and carried out a survey of the requirements of the service .

In addition, medications, supplies and uniforms were delivered to the personnel working in that area.
