In Amazonas! FANB dismantled makeshift supply depot for illegal mining

During patrolling and searching in the state of Amazonas, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and destroyed an improvised structure used to protect logistical materials needed for illegal mining.

This was reported by the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who indicated that the structure was located in the “Mina Moyo” sector and in it a motorcycle bomb was found; sixty meters of 3-inch hose; two 4-inch PVC pipes; one hundred and twenty liters of fuel.

“According to the Venezuelan territorial legal system, any type of mining or hydrocarbon exploitation in the state of Amazonas is expressly prohibited,” he emphasized.
