In numbers: Jorge Rodríguez offers a balance sheet of care for victims of earthquakes in Venezuela

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, offered this Monday a balance sheet on comprehensive care for the victims of the recent strong earthquakes in Venezuela.
He explained that 12,402 people have received medical attention, of whom 527 have been transferred to Caracas, 4,93 received medical assistance directly in the state of La Guaira and 7,274 were treated in the various established triages.
In his speech, Rodríguez reported that a total of 75,238 families have been treated in terms of hydration, food, transportation and travel to temporary camps, as well as psychological care.
He also highlighted that 7 million 237 thousand kg of food have been distributed, “and 22,478 bags of food have been delivered directly to the state of La Guaira and to the affected states.”
