The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) issued a weather alert this Saturday night, after detecting moderate to heavy rainfall with electric shocks in the central region of Venezuela.
According to the report published by the Institute on its social networks, cloud cover formation directly affects the north of Guárico, west of Miranda, Capital District, La Guaira, Aragua, Carabobo and Cojedes.
INAMEH specialists estimate that these weather conditions will persist for the next two hours.
For this reason, the authorities recommend that residents of the above-mentioned entities make the necessary forecasts for the possible increase in flows.
In addition, officials of the National Risk Management System (SNGR) are still deployed to monitor the heavy rains that occur in the country to activate rapid response protocols if the situation requires it.
INAMEH continues to carry out radar monitoring on a permanent basis to report in a timely manner on variations in rainfall within the national territory.
