The first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, denounced that there are Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that have served as a political front to conspire against the Bolivarian Government.
In this regard, he asserted that with the theft of CITGO, the opposition uses the funds of the Simon Bolivar Foundation (a social organization to help Venezuelans in treatment of chronic diseases) to finance NGOs “that are facades of First Justice, of Popular Will, and other Parties that are stealing the resources of the People,” said Infante after the start of the Public Consultation of the Oversight Bill, Regularization, Action and Funding of Non-Governmental and Related Organizations.
The parliamentarian explained that this Law aims to develop the regularization and formation of NGOs “to review where their funding comes from but also to review their assets and what they do”, he emphasized.
In addition, he urged the Venezuelan people to participate in the Public Consultation as established by the Bolivarian Constitution of Venezuela.
