The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reported that it provided essential supplies and drinking water to support the population affected by the earthquakes of June 24.

The delivery included more than 18,000 chlorine tablets — enough to produce 750,000 liters of safe water and nearly 400 body bags.

It also moved a water treatment plant to La Guaira and coordinated the supply of water by tanker trucks to three hospitals.

Volunteers and first response teams continue to be deployed to address the most urgent needs.
