In a statement, the National Institute of Land Transport (INTT)
reported that it keeps its operational team permanently deployed in
the areas affected by the earthquakes recorded on June 24, with
the objective of carrying out care, assistance and direct support to communities.
The
agency noted that, under the principles of service and solidarity, it made its operational and human capacities
available to
the people to contribute to emergency response actions, reaffirming its commitment to
accompany affected families.
In addition,
the INTT expressed its deep regret over the loss of human lives as
a result of the natural disaster. “We extend a supportive and full of
strength to the families of our co-workers and to every citizen who
today is going through the difficult trance of saying goodbye to a loved one; their pain is our pain,” he said.
The INTT reiterated that it
will continue to work in an articulated manner with State agencies to
provide support to the population, convinced that organization and
solidarity will make it possible to meet the needs of the families affected
during the emergency.
