INTT will partially close San Martín Avenue for six days

The road will be closed for demarcation and road marking to ensure drivers' safety.

The National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) announced the partial one-way closure on San Martín Avenue due to demarcation and road signs aimed at ensuring the safety of drivers.

Through an official statement replicated by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the agency specified that the work will be carried out at night starting at 7:00 PM, from this Friday 4th to Wednesday, September 9th.

The intervention will cover the stretch between the Plaza O'Leary dome and the Artigas Metro station, following the following schedule:

Friday 04/09/2026: From the exit of the dome of Plaza O'Leary, in the direction of San Juan parish, to the intersection with Avenida José Ángel Lamas.

Saturday 05/09/2026: From the intersection of South Street to the dome of Plaza O'Leary.

Sunday 06/09/2026: From the intersection of Avenida José Ángel Lamas to the intersection with Av. 1.

Monday 07/09/2026: From Av. 2 to the intersection with South Street.

Tuesday 08/09/2026: From Av. 1 to the Artigas Metro station.

Wednesday 09/09/2026: From the square of the Artigas Metro station to Av. 2.

According to the statement, this measure is part of the maintenance and optimization plans for the city's main road arteries, in accordance with the traffic control and safety powers established by the Land Transportation Act.

Finally, the authorities urged drivers to take precautions, respect safety signs and use alternative routes during working days.
