Iran entered the list of the top ten countries with the greatest scientific and technological capacity in 2023, all after the achievements achieved and scientific production.
In 2023, the country maintained its scientific growth and achieved advances that position it as one of the leading nations in this area worldwide, according to a note from HispanTV.
Some of his projects that make him worthy of this place include the inauguration of a gas megaproject, the launch of satellites and the production of new radiopharmaceuticals.

Then, in September 2023, Iran launched another self-made satellite into orbit, called Nur 3, which means Light in Spanish.
This imaging satellite has civil and military missions such as reconnaissance and response to natural disasters. It was sent into space using the three-stage launcher, Qased, also produced by hand by Iranian specialists.
Later, in December, the country made progress in sending humans to space with the launch of a self-produced biocapsule, which was carried by a new generation, domestically manufactured launcher, called Salman, and tested to control conditions inside the life capsule, speed, and soft landing.
These technological developments have allowed Iran to be one of the 11 nations in the world capable of designing, manufacturing and launching satellites into space, and the only nation in the Western Asian region that has experienced development in the manufacture of satellite launchers.
In addition, the country became the largest producer of therapeutic and diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals in Western Asia, producing 50 types of radiopharmaceuticals that are available and used in domestic medical centers and are exported to nine countries.
