The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, reported that the website www.localizapacientes.com has been made available to everyone so that people can search for their missing relatives, following the natural disaster last Wednesday.
“As for the location, for families who are looking for someone who is missing, we have made available the following website www.localizapacientes.com,” he said.
He explained that people should only enter the website and fill out the corresponding form, “writing the name, surname or ID number of the person they are looking for and we can tell them if they are in any health institution anywhere in the country, whether in La Guaira, Caracas, Miranda, Aragua or Carabobo.”
He also reaffirmed that State security and prevention agencies, together with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and national and international rescuers continue to search relentlessly for people alive.
“At all points we have national teams, even accompanying international teams, there are places where we only have national teams for reasons of number, but even where international teams are there are also rescuers, firefighters, people from the Red Cross, personal doctor, paramedic, accompanying international teams,” he said.
In the same way, he took the opportunity to reiterate the call to the population not to fall into disinformation campaigns. “We are under everyone's command, please continue to attend only to official information that derives from the authorities who are aware and in control of the situation and do not pay attention to hoaxes or false news that some twisted minds have wanted to sow lies there,” he said.
