Jorge Rodríguez: Canonization of our saints translates into national unity

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, stressed that the canonization of Saints José Gregorio Hernández and Carmen Rendiles lies in unity and peace in the country.

Rodríguez recalled that at a time when the defense of peace becomes a priority, the lives and works of these saints offer an example of service, love and solidarity with others. “At a time when we must all commit to defending peace, the legacy of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles reminds us that together, regardless of differences, we can build a future full of peace, love and solidarity,” he said.
