The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, stressed that the registration of volunteers in the Caracas Polyhedron has gone almost perfectly and already has a total of 7,876 registered members willing to help the affected population in La Guaira.

“The process of registering volunteers in the Caracas Polyhedron has been going almost perfectly and I must also say that it brought order to the enormous need that Venezuelans and Venezuelans have to help others,” she said during a press conference.

He reiterated that with this record, “the initial disorder has been replaced by an order in which volunteers are distributed according to the priorities that are established, if they are of a medical type, if they are of a type of rescue of living people and if they are of a type of care in temporary camps.”

He stressed that after people register as volunteers, “they are given their safe conduct and are organized so that, accompanied by law enforcement, they can go down to La Guaira to fulfill their role of helping.”
