From the secret bases of the United States Central Intelligence (CIA) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Colombia, plans continue to be drawn up to sow violence in our country, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“They intend to fill the year 2024 with violence. That's why we have to be alert to visible and invisible threats to guarantee the victory, in the face of any event and circumstance, of civic, military, police union and peace in the country,” said the President during his year-end greeting to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

In this regard, he stressed that these conspiracies against our sovereignty are being developed with the support of Colombian drug trafficking and traitors to the glorious Venezuelan military uniform.

In the same way, he asked the FANB to remain alert to this situation and to be alert, “10 steps ahead” of
actions of these enemies of the Fatherland.

In addition, he asked the military institution to keep its actions in line with what is established in our constitution and in the current legal system.

“We can say that, in addition to being patriotic, Bolivarian, nationalist, heroic, our FANB is Christian in its solidarity and in its capacity to protect and love the people,” he emphasized.
