The Head of State in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced the creation of a Presidential Commission on Habitability, Housing and Infrastructure to determine the living conditions of buildings and guarantee if they can be occupied.
“We have addressed the situation of people who lost their homes and buildings that were severely impacted by the double earthquake that affected Venezuela, we decided to create a presidential commission to determine the habitability of these buildings and road infrastructure,” said the president in charge.
He also added that this Presidential Commission will be headed by engineer Francisco Garcés, and will have the power to, according to a “risk traffic light”, determine living conditions.
