MEP and UPV will continue to mobilize in support of the Revolution and to continue moving forward

The leaders of the People's Electoral Movement (MEP) and Unidad Popular Venezolana (UPV) parties reported that they will continue to mobilize with their political cadres in permanent support of the Revolution and to carry out joint lines of action to allow them to prepare for the 2024 presidential elections.

“A year in which we are forced to face challenges with a lot of optimism. I am sure that we will continue to move forward with firm steps, in that Venezuela that we achieved in Revolution,” said the president of the MEP, Gilberto Giménez.

At the same time, he recalled that in 2023, progress was made in the social welfare system, as well as the recovery of health, the revival of education, “some systems were torpedoed by unilateral coercive measures .”

For his part, the president of UPV, Henry Hernández, announced that this militancy considered traveling through the national territory and interacting with each of the political teams in the states, with the objective of “defining our lines of action, together, and at the same time preparing us for a year that aims to be motivated, participated and committed”.
