MINEC audited and sanctioned 16 companies for environmental pollution

The Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism (MINEC), paralyzed and sanctioned the activities of 16 companies for emitting polluting gases into the atmosphere, polluting water sources and discarding hazardous waste to the environment.
In total, he reported on his social networks, 113 companies were inspected, including car washes, establishments for changing oil and vehicle filters, animal food processors, plastic factories, as well as manufacturers of chemical and cleaning products.
During these operations, 113 technical reports were prepared, 14 sanctioning administrative acts were drawn up and 76 citations were issued to offending companies. Materials and equipment that negatively affect our environment were also retained.
259 officials from the ministerial office, the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB); the Bolivarian National Police (PNB); the Public Ministry (MP); the National Parks Institute (INPARQUES), and spokespersons of the Ecosocialist Councils participated in the day.
MINEC authorities noted that oversight operations across the country seek to enforce environmental laws by those who carry out the private practice of their commercial businesses.
“We ratify our commitment to the protection of the atmosphere and the defense of the environment, as established in the 6th. Ecosocialist Transformation and the Great Mother Earth Venezuela Mission promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros,” said the ministerial body.
