From the state of La Guaira, where he was evaluating the deployment of the various security and care forces, as well as the effects on the coastal entity, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, called on the conscience of the drivers who are mobilizing in this territory to give way to the units for transporting the injured.
“Every time we hear an ambulance here in La Guaira it's a life saved, it's a Venezuelan, a Venezuelan who has been rescued with the possibility of living,” he said.
The also Sectorial Vice President of Policy, Public Security and Peace remarked that in the midst of these tasks of searching and rescuing people, “everyone who drives a car when they hear an ambulance siren has to give way, get away because they are carrying a human being with a very high chance of living”.
He also reported that as part of the actions to reinforce these tasks, international rescue brigades arriving in the country are already being incorporated.
“Here in Venezuela, the comrades from the Dominican Republic are already involved in rescue efforts at a specific site and those from El Salvador have already arrived in the country to join this task,” he said.
