The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, inspected this Saturday, July 4 at 3 in the afternoon, the La Guaira nucleus of the Simón Bolívar University (USB). The technical tour was carried out to coordinate the immediate assistance of families affected by the double earthquake within this temporary care space.
“We have come here to these spaces that belong to the Simón Bolívar University and we have found all the receptivity of the authorities,” said Cabello and explained that the structures have minor damage and are already receiving continuous maintenance to house citizens with dignity in the next few hours.
This deployment complies with the guidelines of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, through an organized system for reviewing the civilian population. At the same time, a technical team evaluates adjacent homes to accurately verify who can safely return to their homes.
“This space will be intended for the care of Venezuelans, of the people of La Guaira with their families here, as has been the government's standard,” he concluded, and thanked the coastal people for their patience and the valuable support of the volunteers, guaranteeing definitive institutional protection.
