Minister Cabello inspected Maiquetía International Airport for recovery after earthquakes

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security, and Peace and Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, toured the facilities of the “Simón Bolívar” International Airport in Maiquetía, in the state of La Guaira, this Saturday.

During the inspection, Cabello corroborated the damage to the air terminal as a result of the earthquakes of last June 24, to prepare reconstruction and recovery plans.

Previously, after a meeting with the Economic Council, the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez announced a major international alliance that the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela is coordinating to begin work on infrastructure.

“We are already in contact with countries that are going to help recover the Maiquetía international airport, which suffered serious damage,” explained the president in charge, during a statement given to the cameras of Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
