The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, reported that the number of people affected in La Guaira after the earthquakes that occurred this Wednesday amounts to more than 70,000 families.

“It is estimated that there are more than 70,000 families,” he said, noting the devastating impact of this unprecedented seismic event on the country.

“Get an idea for comrades who live elsewhere; the dimensions of the impact of these earthquakes here in the state of La Guaira are more than 70,000 families, if you multiply by four, you do the math,” he said.

He specified that the Bolivarian Government will remain deployed in this coastal entity as long as necessary to guarantee comprehensive care for the Guairian people.

“Let there be no doubt to the world that Venezuela is serving the People of La Guaira as the People of La Guaira deserve; a noble people, and we are going to do everything we have to do to rescue them. We will be here all these days and as many days as necessary until we can say: we have accomplished the mission!” , he ruled.
