Minister Henao: Venezuela reached a figure of 1,236,000 barrels of oil per day

The Minister of People's Power for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao, asserted that the tireless effort of the oil workforce, combined with the implementation of strategic investment policies and legal security, has allowed Venezuela to consolidate sustained growth in oil production, reaching a figure of 1,236,000 barrels per day.

During an interview given to the program Abriendo Puertas, broadcast by Venevisión, referring to the leading role of workers in the sector, he asserted that Venezuela has a qualified, highly trained workforce with accumulated experience of more than 100 years of oil history, the Ministry of Hydrocarbons press reports.

In the same way, Henao added that the productive rebound responds to the effectiveness of the policies designed by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, among which the reforms to the Organic Law on Hydrocarbons and its Regulations stand out, a regulatory framework that incorporates novel alliance schemes with the private sector, such as Contracts for Participation in Hydrocarbon Production (CPPH).

In addition, the head of the energy portfolio emphasized the strategic impact of the new agreements signed with the United States Government and with world-class companies, which strengthen economic recovery and translate into the generation of jobs and the dynamization of goods and services.

Minister Henao reiterated the invitation to all sectors of society to actively join this process of productive recovery: “we invite each and every Venezuelan to join this reconstruction, this rebirth of Venezuela and the growth to have a united country.”
