The sectoral vice-president of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, Vladímir Padrino López, pointed out that the greatest aggressions perpetrated by the United States against Venezuela are preceded by the preparation of international public opinion as part of an escalated war.
Through his account on the social network Instagram, he asserted that these matrices are built on the manipulation of unfounded facts and positioned with force where lies have the capacity to prevail.
“The war is built as an escalation: first create public opinion, which is what they are doing right now; and they are positioning that very strongly,” he said.
In that regard, Padrino López questioned the deployment of U.S. troops in the Caribbean Sea to “combat” alleged drug trafficking organizations, after Washington made unsubstantiated accusations against the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
“Why not in the Pacific, where most of the drugs that go to the United States are trafficked? Could it be that the problem is the Caribbean, or is the real problem Venezuela? This is what they want you to believe,” he said.
Faced with this scheme, the Minister of Popular Power for Defense also concluded that everything is a strategy to impose a narrative and build false positives against the Bolivarian nation.
