As part of the strengthening of the Venezuela Renace Plan, the Minister of Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries and president of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG), Héctor Silva, paid a technical inspection visit to the facilities of the Guacara plant of the National Steel Complex (CSN), located in the state of Carabobo, with the objective of verifying first-hand the production processes and the commitment of the working class to the country's industrial development.
During the working day, Silva was accompanied by the president of the National Steel Complex, Cnel. Danny Parada; the president of Alucasa, Rafael Hernández; and the plant manager, Alejandro Granados, who guided the strategic oversight aimed at strengthening coordination and synergy between the companies supervised by the CVG.
The tour began in the furnace area and the billet reception area, where the authorities evaluated the flow of raw material and the thermal standards required for steel processing, highlighting the technical effort that guarantees the operational continuity of the production lines.
Subsequently, the delegation advanced to track group 1 and the pulpit area, fundamental spaces for the control and initial transformation of the material, where the monitoring conditions, quality parameters and the specialized work of the personnel who operate the machinery were verified.
The technical inspection progressed along the intermediate train and the continuous rolling mill, ending this stage on the cooling table, a path where the progressive modeling of the metal and the efficiency of the mechanisms that ensure the structural strength of the finished product were observed.
Finally, the tour ended at the mooring and counting table to lead to the cages storage yard, where the available inventory and the logistical capacity for the distribution and dispatch of these essential inputs for the construction sector and the socio-productive development of the nation were verified.
