Minister Villegas inspected collection centers in Caracas to optimize the delivery of humanitarian aid

The Minister of Popular Power for Industries and National Commerce, Luis Villegas, carried out a technical inspection at the collection centers set up at the Caraca Storage Center in Catia and at the Simón Bolívar Convention Center, located at the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base in La Carlota.

During the tour of both strategic sites, Villegas directly supervised the logistic flow of reception, classification and distribution of supplies and humanitarian aid.

It also noted the continuous inflow of donations from public companies, the private sector and the general public, an articulation that has allowed the constant dispatch of heavy transport units to areas affected by the earthquake.

It should be noted that both collection centers maintain constant and uninterrupted operations 24 hours a day, in order to guarantee the logistical support necessary to sustain the deployment of care in vulnerable communities.
