Ministries of Education and University signed an agreement for the continuity of technical studies

The Minister for Education (MPPE), Yelitze Santaella announced the signing of an agreement between this ministerial body and the Ministry of People's Power for University Education, which will allow for continuity from technical to university education.
At a press conference, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, Santaella described it as a “historic day for Venezuelan professional technical education, due to the signing of this unprecedented joint resolution between the two ministries.”
In this regard, he explained that “we signed an agreement that is to be able to take the sixth year of technical education as the first year of university in the related career. This will give the opportunity to young students in the different technical schools.”
He announced that “President Nicolás Maduro also instructed us, from 296 schools we went to 2,115 throughout the national territory.”
In his account on the social network X, Santaella highlighted the importance of the agreement, which guarantees the continuity of technical studies in the country.
“With this resolution, we are strengthening and validating the 6th year of professional technical education as the first year of university education in the related career. We articulate the curricular management of both ministries of education, under the guidance of territorial development,” he said.
