The Ministry of People's Power for Communication and Information invited national and international journalists to the official registration and accreditation process for comprehensive news coverage of the earthquakes recorded last June 24 in Venezuela.
Through its Telegram channel, the ministerial body indicated that the registration and delivery of journalistic IDs will take place in person, at the Convention Center II, La Carlota, side entrance, in front of the sign that says CAURIMARE, starting at 9:00am.
“The work of communicators is essential to guarantee citizens access to truthful, accurate and timely information. To facilitate the work of reporters, photographers and technical teams, we have set up a space dedicated exclusively to managing their access credentials to areas authorized for the press and to the official balance sheets of the authorities”, says the publication.
Communication professionals interested in becoming accredited must present their current personal identity document (identity card or passport), in addition to the corporate credential of the medium they represent.
“We deeply appreciate your collaboration, professionalism and commitment to journalistic ethics during this great solidarity operation in which we need every word to be a support for the Venezuelan family,” the Ministry urged.
