Ministry of Education maintains suspension of academic activities for another week (+statement)

The Ministry of Education reported that school activities continue to be suspended in all educational institutions in the country during this week, from June 29 to July 5, due to the great damage caused by the double earthquake that hit the nation.

“We urge families and the education sector to follow only official institutional channels and national authorities, in order to guarantee certified information,” the ministry said in a statement.

On its account on the social network Instagram, the ministerial body said: “Our teams are evaluating the educational infrastructure in the affected areas, we are preparing some schools to serve families and our mother cooks are active preparing food for them.”

In the same way, the official document states that the measure applies to all educational institutions in the nation from June 29 to July 5, motivated by the great effects caused by the earthquakes that hit the country.

Finally, it urges families and the education sector to consult only official, institutional and national authority channels, in order to guarantee access to certified information.
