The Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS) rehabilitated the Men's Observation Service in Emergency Room two of the Antonio María Pineda Central University Hospital (HCUAMP) in Barquisimeto, Lara state.
The governor of the entity, Adolfo Pereira, explained that these adjustments will allow 60 patients to be treated daily.
He noted that the work carried out included the installation of luminaires and bathroom batteries, adaptation of walls, operation of multiparameter monitors and oxygen systems, in addition to the rest room for medical personnel.
“With these 19 beds that we are delivering today, there are 45 available to patients, in addition to providing a significant amount of supplies and medications available in the pharmacy,” said Pereira, quoted in an MPPS press release.
For his part, the director of the HCUAMP, Germán Graterón, explained that “with these new equipment we are providing comfort and safety to every patient who comes to our campus, which not only opens its doors to people from Larense, but also offers care to other regions such as Yaracuy, Falcón, Barinas and Trujillo”.
