MinSalud announced the activation of all public and 12 private health centers to respond to the emergency

The Ministry of People's Power for Health announced, through an official statement, the activation of all public health centers to serve the affected population at the national level.

The communication highlights that there is currently care capacity in the following hospitals: Hospital Vargas de Caracas, El Algodonal (Antímano). Lidice Hospital, Catia Peripheral Hospital, Los Magallanes de Catia Hospital, Dr. Carlos Arvelo Military Hospital, Domingo Luciani Hospital (El Llanito) and the Pérez de León II Hospital (Petare).

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Health and the National Public Health System, faced with the situation resulting from the seismic event that occurred yesterday, June 24, reports that all public health centers have been activated to serve the affected population at the national level. This measure has special emphasis on the entities with the highest incidence: the Capital District and the states of La Guaira, Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo and Falcón.

Currently, we have care capacity in the following hospitals: Hospital Vargas de Caracas, El Algodonal (Antímano). Lidice Hospital, Catia Peripheral Hospital, Los Magallanes de Catia Hospital, Dr. Carlos Arvelo Military Hospital, Domingo Luciani Hospital (El Llanito) and the Pérez de León II Hospital (Petare).

In addition, in coordination with the Association of Private Clinics of the Capital Region, represented by its president, Dr. Germán Cortez, 12 private centers located in Greater Caracas have been made available to those affected for triage, evaluation and hospitalization. These institutions are: Santa Sofía Clinic, La Trinidad Teaching Medical Center, Hospital de Clínicas Caracas, Fénix Salud, Clínica Ávila, Clínica La Floresta, Sanatrix, San Román Urological, Metropolitan Polyclinic, Clínica Loira and Ven.

We reiterate our commitment to working hard in partnership with the private sector to ensure care for all citizens. We call for calm and to strictly follow the instructions of the competent authorities to ensure the effectiveness of the implemented response measures.
