The Bolivarian Government of Miranda renovated the Alberto Figueredo swimming pool in the Parque Miranda Sports Complex, according to information released in a press release.

According to the information, this pool serves nearly 1,800 users who use these spaces for the development of swimming and other water sports.

In this regard, the president of the Miranda State Water Sports Association (ADAEM), Danny Chocrón, said that the rehabilitation work consisted of replacing the pipes and faucets in the water supply and drainage system, scarizing the entire pool, replacing damaged mosaics, remodeling the bathrooms and beautifying the garden.

“There are more than 4,000 square meters that were repaired in the pool. The pipes were replaced in their entirety. The bathrooms, both for women and men, were completely remodeled,” she explained.

Chocrón explained that the staff working at the water sports center were also equipped with uniforms.

In addition, it became known that to use the spaces, interested parties must register at the ADAEM office, located in the José Joaquín Papá Carrillo Gymnasium in Parque Miranda, from 9:30 in the morning to 12:00 at noon.

“The office contact number is 0212-2374354. Those who want to enroll their children in children's school must carry a record of a healthy child, a photocopy of the child's identity card or birth certificate and a photocopy of the representative's identity document,” he explained.
