The president of the Nevado Mission, Maigualida Vargas Moreno, asked people who have given temporary shelter to pets rescued after earthquakes to draw up posters to facilitate the location of their owners.
He noted that many families continue to search for their animals and that the dissemination of these notices on social networks will accelerate the reunion.
Vargas explained that the posters must include the photograph of the animal, the place where it was found and a contact number, in addition to labeling Misión Nevado to expand the scope of the information. He indicated that this practice will help organize reports and connect those looking for their pets with those who keep them under cover.
The president recalled that the mission guarantees food in the camps and maintains rescue, mobilization and veterinary care operations, with the objective of locating the owners or managing a new adoption when necessary.
