The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) evacuated 1,168 illegal miners who had arbitrarily installed the “Colonial” and “El Silencio” mines in Bolivar state, reported the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through his X account, the senior military officer explained that the expulsion of these predators from the environment was carried out within the framework of the Roraima 2024 operation carried out by the FANB for the preservation of natural areas in that entity.

“Our Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela establishes in its article 128 that territorial planning is a State policy, and this planning process will take into account geographical, ecological, population, social and cultural realities,” he recalled.
