More than 3,000 officials will ensure safety at the San Sebastian Fair

The commander of the Los Andes Comprehensive Defense Strategic Region (REDI), G/D José Martínez Campos, reported that a total of 3,500 officials will provide security at the different events involving the San Sebastian International Fair in the state of Táchira.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, she said that for this event, which will take place from January 10 to 28 , police forces, Civil Protection (PC) and firefighters will be present to ensure the smooth running of activities.

In addition, he indicated that security officials have already begun permanent inspections of the entity's mechanical parks.

For his part, the Regional Director of Civil Protection, Yesnardo Canal, explained that the necessary forecasts have been taken by activating 350 PC officials to cover the activities planned by the San Cristóbal mayor's office and the state government.

He mentioned that the presence of PC officials will be with preventive points, with a tent, ambulances and a post “we have three circles of security and protection”.
